Master your mission.Own every battle.
You didn't lose your discipline — you lost the mission. Twelve years in uniform teaches you how to execute. Nobody teaches you what to execute when the orders stop coming. I do military transition and career coaching one-on-one and in groups — for people still serving who want to move up, people getting out, spouses, and civilians rebuilding after a hard change.

Who this is for
Three people walk into this the same way.
Different uniforms, same problem: nobody is running your career for you, and willpower alone won't replace a plan.
The one still in
You're not getting out — you're trying to move up. Board packets, evaluations, broadening assignments, schools, the next duty station, and the stay-or-go decision. Your NCO support channel is busy. You need someone whose only job is your progression.
The one on the way out
Eighteen months left, or already out. TAP gave you a binder. You had the resume, took the job, and it still feels wrong — the paycheck cleared and the purpose didn't follow. Nobody warned you the hardest part starts after the ceremony.
The one who held it down
You're the spouse. You moved seven times, rebuilt a career from scratch every time, and carried the household through every deployment. Your transition is real too, and almost nobody plans for it.
Mission
I'm not just a guru. I was your NCO.
- 12+ years, U.S. Army
- Senior NCO, medically retired
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Senior HR certification
I spent twelve years in the U.S. Army and retired medically as a senior noncommissioned officer. Most of that time, my actual job was people: counseling soldiers, running training, managing personnel, and getting a formation ready for things nobody feels ready for.
Then I was the one on the other side of the desk. Medical retirement isn't a plan you make; it's a plan that gets made for you. I had to rebuild my own routine, my own identity, and my own income without the structure that had organized every day of my adult life.
What I found is that the skill was never gone. Battle rhythm is a real thing the military teaches you: a repeating cycle of planning, execution, and assessment that keeps a unit functional under pressure. Take it out of uniform and it still works. That's the whole method, and it's the same thing I'm putting in the field guide.
I coach it two ways. One-on-one, when your situation is specific and you want somebody in your corner every week. And in a group setting, because a squad beats a solo effort almost every time — people push each other, and hearing someone two steps ahead of you say it out loud lands harder than hearing it from me. Same method either way. Pick the one that fits your schedule and your budget.
Military and family members are my tribe — that's who I built this for. Civilians are welcome too, because a layoff, a divorce, or a diagnosis lands the same way a medical board does, and the fix is the same.
Execution
Four phases. Same cycle you already know.
This is a sequence, not a menu. Each phase feeds the next, and we run the loop until it holds without me.
Assess
An honest inventory: finances, health, skills, relationships, and what you actually want, separate from what you were told to want. No fluff, no personality quiz. We find out where you really are before anyone plans anything.
Anchor
We rebuild the non-negotiables first: a wake-up time, a training block, a money system, a weekly review. Purpose follows structure, not the other way around. This is the phase most people skip and it's why most people stall.
Rehearse
Interviews, hard conversations, salary negotiations, the first ninety days of a new job, telling your spouse what you actually need. We run it before you have to live it, the same way you'd rehearse anything that matters.
Sustain
The after-action review, on a schedule. What worked, what didn't, what changes next cycle. The goal is that you run your own rhythm and stop paying me. If you still need a coach in year three, I did it wrong.
Service & Support
This is not a subscription you forget about.
Every program starts with the same free 20-minute Zoom call. I keep the rooms small on purpose — I would rather work properly with a few people than shallowly with a hundred. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you on that call and point you somewhere better.

Everything above runs on Zoom, which is what makes it work across time zones and duty schedules. But if you're near me in Texas — or you're bringing a group, a unit, or a spouses' club together — I'll come to you. Pricing depends on the size of the group and how far I'm travelling, so email me or raise it on the free call and we'll work it out.
Active duty, Guard, Reserve, spouses, and Gold Star families get 25% off any tier. Use code FORMATION25 at checkout, or mention it on your call and I'll send a direct link. If money is the only thing standing between you and this, email me. We'll figure something out.
Sustainment
The first cohort is forming now.
I could fill this page with testimonials. I'd rather tell you the truth: the coaching business is new. The work behind it is not.
Founding rate, locked
Whatever you pay to start is what you pay for as long as you stay. These prices go up once the first cohort finishes and I have results to point at.
A smaller room
The early groups run well under the twelve-person cap. More airtime, more attention, and a coach who is not stretched across a hundred clients.
You shape it
What works for you gets built into the program. What doesn't gets cut. Founding members get asked for feedback constantly, and it actually changes things.
Case study — medical separation
A Marine gunnery sergeant came to me part-way through a medical board, stuck. The process had stalled on him, nobody had explained what happened next, and he was running out of runway. He was on his way out for medical reasons with no plan for the day after, and the not-knowing was doing more damage than the board was.
We worked the board first. What to document, what order to do it in, and who to chase for each piece — and I put him in front of the right people at the right time instead of letting him guess his way through it. Then we worked the part nobody prepares you for: what he was going to do once the uniform came off. Resume, targets, the conversations he was dreading.
His disability claim came back approved. He started a job shortly after he separated.
Outcome Claim approved, hired Worked One-on-one Note Before any of this had a name or a price
Case study — involuntary separation
An Army specialist was being put out and had nowhere to land. No plan, no civilian resume, and no idea the disability process was still open to him once he was gone. He had written himself off before the paperwork was even finished, which is the part that actually sinks people.
We started with the resume — how to translate what he actually did into language a civilian hiring manager reads, and where and how to submit it so it got seen instead of filtered. Then we mapped the claim: what to file, what evidence he needed, and how to keep pushing it after he was out and nobody was doing it for him anymore.
He came out rated at 50 percent, and he landed a job at a major tech company. He walked out with a first ninety days that had something in it instead of a blank calendar.
Outcome Rated 50%, hired in tech Worked One-on-one
As people finish their ninety days, their words go here — real names, real permission, no stock photos.
The halfway line
Get halfway. If it's not working, get your money back.
You shouldn't have to gamble on a coach you've never worked with. So here's the deal, and it's the same one I'd want.
Work with me up to the halfway point. If it isn't doing anything for you, tell me and I'll refund what you haven't used. No form, no talking you out of it, no thirty-day window that quietly expires.
Past halfway, sales are final — and that's fair to both of us. By then you've had the bulk of the work, and the results in this kind of coaching land in the back half. Anyone who quits at session eight and asks for the money back got the thing they paid for.
- Direct Command — through session six of twelve, I refund the sessions you haven't used ($83 each). From session seven on, final.
- The Formation — attended two or fewer calls this month? That month is refundable. Three or more, it's final. Cancel any time before your next billing date and you're not charged again.
- The Field Guide — 14 days, no questions, no reason needed.
And nobody buys anything before we've talked. Every program starts with a free 20-minute Zoom call, so you get a real read on me before a card comes out.

Questions
Straight answers.
Is this therapy?
No, and I won't pretend otherwise. Coaching is forward-looking work on goals, structure, and accountability. It is not mental health treatment, medical care, or a substitute for either. Many people do both, and I'll always encourage that. If what you're carrying needs a clinician, I'll say so on the first call and help you find one.
Do you ever meet in person?
Yes, on request. The programs above are built around Zoom because that's what works when you're on a duty schedule or in another time zone. But I'm in Texas, and if you're nearby — or you want me to work with a group, a unit, or a spouses' club in person — I'll travel. The fee varies with group size and distance, so email me or bring it up on the free call.
Do I have to be military?
No. The method came out of a military career, but the problem it solves is universal: your structure disappeared and you have to rebuild one. Civilians going through a layoff, a divorce, a health event, or a late-career reset are welcome here too.
What if I'm still on active duty?
Good — that's the best time to start. Ideally we begin 12 to 24 months out. Sessions run on Zoom around your schedule, including odd hours and time zones.
What happens on the free Zoom call?
Twenty minutes on Zoom. You tell me where you are and what's stuck. I tell you honestly whether I can help, which tier fits, and what it would take. If I'm not the right person, I'll tell you that too. No pressure, no follow-up sequence you have to unsubscribe from.
Can I use my VA benefits or GI Bill for this?
Not currently. Coaching isn't an accredited education program, so GI Bill and VR&E funds don't apply. If you're eligible for VR&E (Chapter 31), talk to your counselor first — that program is free to you and worth using. This is separate.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, up to the halfway point. On the 90-day intensive that means through session six of twelve — tell me it isn't working and I refund the sessions you haven't used. On the monthly group, if you've attended two or fewer calls that month, that month is refundable. The field guide is refundable for 14 days, no reason needed. Past the halfway mark sales are final, because by then you've had the bulk of the work. You can always cancel the monthly group before your next billing date and not be charged again.
